Since the mad cow crisis or the GMO controversy, we hear a lot about food security, traceability and precautionary principles. Even though the general public is aware and concerned, the exact meaning of these words is not always fully understood.

The agrofood professionals must be precisely and fully aware of these notions and must guarantee quality, secured and healthy products.

That is why Le Palais des Saveurs has undertaken ISO FSSC 22000 certification procedures for its two production sites :

PACK SERVICE , dedicated to the cutting of fresh cheeses, was granted its certification in 2010. GEL DES SAVEURS, specialized in frozen products, is in the process of getting it and should be audited in June 2014.

Our quality approach is at the core of our priorities :

– Ensure the quality of raw materials : Le Palais des Saveurs works in close and constant partnership with more than 40 suppliers. This partnership is solidified by the drawing-up of complete specifications which are reviewed annually. Verifications on delivery and field audits allow us to thoroughly monitor the supplies.

– Secure the production environment through proper hygienic and manufacturing measures, an adapted and thorough cleaning and desinfection process, a permanent control to prevent the possibility of foreign objects.

– Manage the process and the finished goods quality : a plan of adapted and enhanced self-checking is established throughout the processing chain, from the moment we take delivery of the cheese  to the moment we dispatch our finished products.

– Implement a quality management system to make sure we comply with the national and European regulations and with the reference system for specific procedures (withdrawal/callback, crisis management, etc.)

– Ensure the traceability thanks to the setting up of a computer software allowing us to increase our reactivity and to improve information reporting.

We are aware of the importance to be reactive regarding information. That is why Le Palais des Saveurs quality department is always at your disposal and constantly ensures the best quality in the shortest times.
